John Abraham and Sharvari's movie Vedaa hit the silver screen on August 15, 2024. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, Vedaa clashed with Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein at the box office. Nearly two months after its theatrical run, the action drama film had its OTT premiere on ZEE5 today (October 10). On its digital release day, the makers dropped a thrilling promo of Vedaa on social media.

ZEE5 shared a new promo of Vedaa on its official Instagram handle. The promo features John Abraham in an action-packed look. He goes all guns blazing. On the other hand, Sharvari unleashed her inner action avatar. The movie is a story of a 'fearless warrior and her protector'. The actress plays the titular role while John is seen as Major Abhimanyu Kanwar.
While sharing the promo on IG, the streamer captioned it, "The fight for justice. The battle of survival. The tale of a fearless warrior and her protector has just begun Watch Vedaa - now streaming on ZEE5! (sic)."

In an official statement, John shared his excitement about Vedaa's OTT release on ZEE5. "I'm proud to be part of a film that not only entertains but also empowers. Apart from John and Sharvari, the cast of Vedaa includes Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi and Tamannaah Bhatia. Produced by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment, the movie is reportedly inspired by true events.
