Vedaa on OTT: Sharvari Wagh flaunts her fighter look as she gets ready to battle gangsters | Watch

John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer Vedaa is currently streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the action drama follows the journey of a young woman who confronts and resists a repressive system against an antagonistic portrayal. Days after the OTT release, the makers of the film have now shared a new promo featuring Sharvari.

On October 13, ZEE5 shared a new promo of Vedaa on their Instagram page. The clip shows Sharvari Wagh preparing herself for the battle against the evil forces. She is flaunting her intense look and encouraging herself for the war. Sharvari can be heard saying, "Har bhale hi ho. Mein ladke harna chahti hu." (I don't mind losing but I want to fight before losing the war)

While sharing the promo, the streaming platform captioned it, "When there’s no one to fight for you, you become the fighter #Vedaa now streaming on #ZEE5"

John Abraham on Vedaa's OTT release

Sharing his excitement about the OTT release of Vedaa, John Abraham, in a statement said that he is proud to be a part of the film that not just entertains but also empowers. 

"Vedaa, inspires women to embrace their strength and also encourages all of us to support and uplift one another. The film is very important and relevant in today’s day and age which is a powerful reminder that when women thrive, we all thrive," the actor added.

Clashing with two major films, Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein, Vedaa did not perform well at the box office. 

Veda explores the dark and brutal world of caste-based violence and social inequality. The film revolves around three main characters caught in the storm of social injustice.

The lead character Vedaa is played by Sharvari. She is a dedicated law student who has a strong interest in boxing. She has a sister Geetanjali, a brother Vinod, and their parents. However, their happy life changes when a series of events forces attack them. John Abraham plays the role of Abhimanyu Kanwar, a court-martialed army man. His life takes a tragic turn when his wife is brutally murdered by terrorists.
