Sharing his excitement about Vedaa's OTT release on ZEE5, John shared in a statement, "I'm proud to be part of a film that not only entertains but also empowers. Vedaa inspires women to embrace their strength and also encourages all of us to support and uplift one another. The film is very important and relevant in today’s day and age which is a powerful reminder that when women thrive, we all thrive."

In an interview with Radio City, John reacted to box office concerns about Vedaa. He shared that the message of a film matters more than its failure or success.

"Although we’ve told it in an entertaining way, the message remains the same. The message could be a tough pill to swallow for some people, and I respect that," he added.
