Vasuki Vaibhav on his wedding: THIS is what the singer-composer had to reveal

A couple of days ago, to mark the festive occasion of Diwali, singer-composer Vasuki Vaibhav uploaded pictures on his social media pages that got people commenting.

Vasuki posted a series of pics, with his good friend and actress Chandana Ananthakrishna. In the pics, the Kagadada Doniyalli singer and Hoo Male actress — both former Bigg Boss Kannada contestants — are seen dressed in their best ethnic outfits. They are all smiles as they pose with a festive puja thatte and look happy in each other’s company. What’s more, the pictures were clicked at a wedding venue in Bengaluru.

All this was enough for Vasuki’s followers to start congratulating him, as people assumed that the two former Bigg Boss housemates were all set to actually live together — that they were getting married in real life!

Even though Vasuki captioned the pictures, “Deepagala habba Deepavaliya subhashayagaḷu. A photoshoot with @chandana_ananthakrishna”, his comments section was flooded with messages of congratulations.

Even actress Ramya commented, "I thought these were your engagement pictures 🤪"

Several other celebrities, such as Bhoomi Shetty, RJ Prithvi and Nidhi Subbaiah liked and commented on the pics.

Realising that the pictures had, perhaps, given out the wrong message, Vasuki took to this Instagram story the next day to explain that it was just a photoshoot for Diwali, and that there was nothing going on between him and Chandana.

Vasuki and Chandana were good friends on Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7. While Chandana was evicted in the 12th week of the show, Vasuki placed third, after Shine Shetty and Kuri Prathap.

Vasuki, who began his career as a singer and composer with the critically-acclaimed Rama Rama Re in 2016, is gearing up for Harikathe Alla Girikathe. He also turned lyricist for the 2020 comedy caper, French Biriyani.

Chandana, a television actress, gained popularity as Chukki in the TV serial Raja Rani. She debuted with the show in 2018. Apart from acting, Chandana is also a singer and classical dancer.
