Vasishta N Simha and Hariprriya welcome their first born – a baby boy!

Kannada actors Vasishta N Simha and Hariprriya had twice the reason to celebrate on January 26, 2025. On their second wedding anniversary, the couple welcomed their first born, a baby boy. Vasishta took to social media to announce, “And thus he arrived on our wedding day”.

Vasishta and Hariprriya worked on the Kannada remake of Evaru, Yadha Yadha Hi, following which they had publicly announced their relationship and intention to take it to the next level shortly. It was initially thought that they’d met on the set of the film, but was later revealed that they’d known each other for a while and had successfully kept their relationship under wraps.

They got married on January 26, 2023, and announced the impending arrival of their first child during a babymoon holiday to Maldives in early November. They followed this with a traditional seemantha ceremony a few weeks ago, which was attended by the couples near-and-dear ones.

Vasishta, who has been busy with acting commitments, throughout most of the pregnancy, is expected to take a couple of months off from work to focus on his new responsibility and being a hands-on dad.

Hariprriya, who has been in cinema since 2008, took a break from professional commitments after the release of Yadha Yadha Hi. Vasishta, who was last seen in Love Li in Kannada, has been busy with multiple projects in Telugu cinema.
