Vasco Da Gama, the recently released Tamil film starring actor Nakkhul in the lead role, is gearing up for its OTT streaming release. The film, which released in theatres on August 2, is now all set to premiere on Aha Tamil on September 6. It will also be available on OTTplay Premium.
Actor Nakkhul, who made his debut with the 2003 film Boys, was last seen in the recently released film Vasco Da Gama. Vasco Da Gama released in theatres on August 2, and opened to mixed reviews. Now, after completing its theatrical run, Vasco Da Gama is now available for streaming on Aha Tamil from September 6 onwards. The film can be streamed on OTTplay Premium as well.

Vasco Da Gama is a fantasy comedy, written and directed by RG Krishnan. Besides Nakkhul, the film also stars actors Arthana Binu, K. S. Ravikumar, Vamsi Krishna, Anandaraj, Mansoor Ali Khan, Munishkanth and Redin Kingsley in supporting roles.
The film's technical crew consists of NS Sathish Kumar cranking the camera and Tamil Kumaran handling the edits. Arun NV has scored the music for Vasco Da Gama. Vasco Da Gama is produced by DATO’ B. Subaskaran under the banner 5656 Production.
Nakkhul who made his acting debut with the 2003 film Boys, recently completed 21 years in the industry as an actor. The actor was introduced by veteran filmmaker Shankar through his coming-of-age drama Boys, along with other actors, including Siddharth, Genelia D’Souza, Bharath, Thaman, and Manikandan.
In the film, Nakkhul played one of the six youngsters who elope from their houses, in order to live an independent and free-spirited life. Boys can be streamed on SunNXT and OTTplay Premium. AR Rahman, a regular collaborator of Shankar, has composed the music for the film.
