Team Varun Tej slam reports of the star hero's wedding film rights sold to a popular OTT; details inside

Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are all over the news as they tied the knot on November 1, 2023. Well, a grand reception was held on November 5, 2023, in Hyderabad and the pictures are all over the internet. Since morning, news has gone viral that the couple has sold the OTT rights of their wedding to Netflix for a whopping Rs 8 crores.

This news was reported by several media houses in the last few hours and became a talking point all over. Well, we have come to know exclusively from one of her sources that the news is fake and there is no truth in it.

One of Lavanya's PRs has confirmed to us that this news is fake and says "We have no idea where this rumor has come out from. Lavanya and Varun have not sold the rights to any platform and they are not in any plans to do so".

The PR also adds that the news has been spread by one of the local portals just to gain popularity on the web and this has disturbed the couple very much. Varun Tej belongs to the mega family headed by Chiranjeevi and he would not do something like this for money adds the PR.

Varun Tej and Lavanya got married in Italy and a very popular wedding planner was hired by the couple. The entire mega clan was in Italy for a week and the pictures of the star-studded reception have also gone viral on social media. 

In the past, star Tamil heroine, Nayanthara also sold the rights of her wedding to a popular OTT platform but the show is yet to come out. Well, now that the team of the couple has slammed the news, things will go back to normal.
