Varun Dhawan's VD18 titled Baby John, to release on May 31, 2024 – Watch teaser

The cat is finally out of the bag. Varun Dhawan’s VD18 is titled Baby John and the makers have unveiled the same through a powerful teaser. No really, we promise you that you will have to revisit it because it will blow your mind to that extent. The film is scheduled for May 31 release and it is sure to create more buzz than it already is, given how powerful 1.05 minute clip can be.

Varun Dhawan is the only actor seen in the teaser of Baby John. The viewers also got to experience a bit of the title song, composed by Thaman S. Varun teases with his eyes and later, with his attitude, while faced with a dancer. While the throne he sits on is inspired from Game of Thrones, his attitude is no less than Yash from KGF. The teaser promises that lots of bullets will fly with this one.

The film

Presented by Jawan director Atlee, Baby John is directed by Kalees and produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Priya Atlee and Murad Khetani. Apart from Varun, the film stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi as female leads and Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.

Baby John will release in theatres on May 31. It is backed by Jio Studios and thus, there is a likelihood that the film might be out on Jio Cinema after its theatrical run. The makers are yet to confirm the same.

Varun Dhawan’s last and upcoming projects

Varun was last seen in Bawaal. The movie went viral on social media for a few scenes, especially where Janhvi Kapoor’s character fainted out of past trauma experiences. The actor was also seen in a cameo appearance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani.

Varun was making headlines for being a part of the Hindi version of Citadel. Directed by Raj and DK, the Indian version also sees Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. Apart from that, he has Stree 2, a project with Karan Johar-Tiger Shroff and Dulhania 3 as almost confirmed projects.
