Munjya, starring Sharvari, Abhay Verma, and Mona Singh, was released theatrically on June 7, 2024. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie is a part of Dinesh Vijan's horror comedy universe, which includes Stree and Bhediya. As Munjya is performing well at the box office, Bhediya actor Varun Dhawan congratulated the entire team. He further requested people not to miss the post-credits scene of Munjya.

Munjya box office collection
As far as Munjya's box office collection is concerned, the horror comedy got an opening of Rs 4.21 crore at the box office. On the second day, Munjya witnessed substantial growth as it collected Rs 7.40 crore. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Aditya Sarpotdar directorial's total collection could come close to Rs 19 crore after its opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Munjya will drop on Disney+ Hotstar after its theatrical run ends. The horror comedy's OTT release hasn't been confirmed yet. But audiences can expect the film to release on the streaming platform after 45 to 60 days of its theatrical release.
