Filmmaker Anees Bazmee is set to bring the sequel to his 2005 film No Entry very soon. The buzz is that the director intends to roll No Entry's sequel by next year. It was recently reported that Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor have come on board for the movie and replaced Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. The latest development is that Varun, Diljit, and Arjun will reportedly play double roles in No Entry's sequel, which is reportedly titled No Entry Mein Entry.
According to a Mid-Day report, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor will step into the roles played by Salman, Anil, and Fardeen. While the 2005 film revolved around philandering men, the sequel of No Entry will have a completely new setting and fresh dynamics.
"The double roles and mix-ups will add to the film’s humour. Varun, Arjun, and Diljit loved the script, and are eager to explore their on-screen camaraderie," a source told the tabloid.
For those unaware, it was earlier reported that No Entry's sequel would have as many as 10 actresses. Names of Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, and Rashmika Mandanna were being speculated. No actress has been confirmed to be part of the Anees Bazmee directorial as the script has been tweaked. "Anees will zero in on the leading ladies by the year-end and take the film on floors by early 2025," a source added.
The first installment featured actresses Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitley. Having said that, producer Boney Kapoor intends to release the film in 2025 and also mark the 20th anniversary of No Entry's first installment.
Meanwhile, Boney is currently looking forward to the release of his film Maidaan on April 10, 2024. Anees, on the other hand, is busy with the shoot of his horror comedy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
