Varun Dhawan has been on the top of the world for the past couple of weeks as he is the new father in town after he welcomed his bundle of happiness, his first daughter with his wife Natasha Dalal. The world has been congratulating the two as they ace their parent duties now. So now as life movies on Papa Varun decides to bounce back to work even if it is difficult to part ways with the little munchkin and the first thing his is about to do is reunite with his father David Dhawan in a very quirky movie. The father-son, director-actor duo is all set to reunite after a series of successful movies and just like his past film, Papa Dhawan has found his title in his past work and this time in a song. The movie where Varun and David come together is titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.
Varun Dahwan's Next Has A title Now
For the unversed, it was recently reported that David Dhawan is casting son Varun Dhawan in his movie yet again after working on movies like Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2, and Coolie No. 1. It was also reported that Varun will be joined by Mrunal Thakur who was recently seen in Kalki 2898 AD and Sreelela in the film. Turns out the movie now has a title, a shooting schedule, and even a tentative 2025 date. Read on to know everything you should about the same.
As per the latest report from Pinkvilla, it seems like Varun Dhawan and David Dhawan indeed have progressed with their new film. The movie is now titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and that's not it the movie has gone on floors with the schedule today. Yes, Varun Dhawan has started shooting for the movie and the cameras have rolled on it. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, the makers are looking at an October 2, 2025 release which is a bank holiday in India.

A source close to the development said, “It’s a quirky title in sync with the world that David Dhawan is looking to create with Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Sreelela. It’s a fun family entertainer with the love triangle of the trio at the center. David Dhawan has cracked a concept that’s fresh and original, and is confident to recreate the magic of comedies on the big screen again.”
“Varun is shooting today with Maniesh Paul and Kubbra Sait. The entire ensemble will be coming together as the journey progresses. Get ready for a typical David Dhawan comedy with colours, music and a big star-cast,” the source added.
Meanwhile, it is also being said that David Dhawan is looking to bring together some of the best comic artists from the industry in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. However, before the reunion movie with his father, Varun Dhawan will be seen in Baby John, that is set to hit the big screen on December 25, 2024.
