Varshangalkku Shesham on OTT - Vineeth Sreenivasan’s film to stream on Sony LIV in THESE languages

Varshangalkku Shesham, the period drama directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, hit the big screens on April 11, 2024. Despite clashing with some of the biggest blockbusters at the box office, the multi-starrer succeeded in earning super-hit status. Now, after a long wait, Varshangalkku Shesham is gearing up to have its OTT release soon, on the popular streaming platform Sony LIV. As per the recent updates, the Pranav Mohanlal-Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer is gearing up to release in multiple languages including Malayalam on the platform, on June 7, 2024.

Varshangalkku Shesham to stream on Sony LIV in THESE languages

Earlier, it was reported that Varshangalkku Shesham will stream on Sony LIV only in its original language, Malayalam. The reports came out as a big disappointment for the Malayalam cinema audiences, especially those who were expecting the dubbed versions to release on OTT. However, the grapevine now suggests that the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial will stream on the popular OTT platform in five languages. If the reports are to be believed, the multi-starrer film is finally getting dubbed into Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages, prior to its OTT release. However, both Sony LIV and makers of Varshangalkku Shesham have not reacted to these reports yet.

Varshangalkku Shesham box office

As reported earlier, Varshangalkku Shesham had a successful run at the box office, that lasted for over 50 days. The movie, which features popular star Nivin Pauly in a pivotal role, earned a lifetime collection of over Rs. 83 crore within its lifetime run at the worldwide box office. Even though the Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial was expected to emerge as the Vishu winner of 2024, the movie failed to beat Aavesham, the Fahadh Faasil starrer directed by Jithu Madhavan, at the box office. However, Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan’s film succeeded in earning the second spot in the race.

Along with Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Nivin Pauly, Varshangalkku Shesham features a stellar star cast including Kalyani Priyadarshan, Aju Varghese, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Basil Joseph, Deepak Parambol, Neeraj Madhav, Shaan Rahman, YG Mahendran, Neeta Pillai, Bhagath Manuel, Harikrishnan, and many others in the pivotal roles. Newcomer Amrith Ramnath composed music for the film produced by Visakh Subramaniam, under the banner Merryland Cinemas.
