The much-awaited trailer of Vijay's Varisu is here. The two-and-a-half minute promo video begins and ends with the importance of family and relationships. The movie helmed by Vamshi Paidipally has the actor playing a care-free youngster who takes up the huge business empire of his father owing to a series of unexpected incidents.
He oozes style and swag in action scenes and one-liners which are likely to bring the house down. The film stars a bevy of actors, including Rashmika, Sarath Kumar, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj and others. Everyone gets their due in the trailer, but unsurprisingly, it is Vijay who steals the show.
Sarath Kumar and Jayasudha play parents to the actor in the family drama while Prakash Raj will be seen essaying the antagonist's role. How the protagonist saves his family members from the clutches of a shrewd businessman forms the plot of Varisu.
Thaman's background score and Karthik Palani's visuals stand out in the trailer. Action scenes choreographed by Ram Laxman, Peter Hein and Dhilip Subbarayan are expected to leave an impact among the audience. Praveen KL and Jani Master have handled editing and dance choreography respectively for the movie which has been produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Surprisingly, the trailer has been unveiled without an update about its release date. Though the film's release was earlier announced as January 12, the trade is gearing up for a surprise. Varisu, which is releasing in Telugu, too, under the title Vaarasudu, we hear, might prepone its release by a day, but an official update is awaited.
The project will lock horns with Ajith's Thunivu at Kollywood box office while Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy will be the Vijay-starrer's competitors at Tollywood box office.
