Vadivelu to feature in an aha web series?

It is speculated that the 100% Telugu platform aha, which mind you, is one of the leading OTT platforms from the industry, might approach stars from the Tamil film industry to produce their content. The latest name to pop up amidst the speculation is that of Vadivelu. The actor, who is best known for doing comic roles, has been approached for a web series on aha, according to a report on Asianet News.

The report states that Vadivelu might have even given a nod to do the web series on aha. However, unfortunately, there is no more update on the project as of now.

According to the report, aha is planning to launch aha Tamil soon. Producer Allu Arvind, who is the head of aha, has reportedly also met a few talents in Tamil to produce their content. Moreover, the report states that the platform might acquire more Tamil films to stream.

The leading OTT platform in Tamil currently is SunNxt. It is left to see if the move by aha will impact the position of SunNxt.

Meanwhile, Vadivelu was last seen in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Mersal, which was released in 2017. He played the role of Vadivu in the superhit movie.

Also a singer, Vadivelu has crooned various songs composed by Illayaraaja and Devi Sri Prasad among others. There has been no update on his projects in the recent past and the actor has not confirmed any of his upcoming works either.
