Urvashi Rautela and controversies go hand-in-hand. Every time she speaks up during the interviews, she ends up getting trolled and criticized online. Recently, she found herself at the center of controversy after she reacted to Saif Ali Khan's stabbing incident. She faced massive backlash after she started flaunting her expensive watch while expressing concern over Saif's health. Not only that, she even couldn't stop gushing over her recently released film Daaku Maharaaj performing well at the box office. People were seen calling her a 'beauty with no brains'. Now, in a recent interview, she reacted to the same, but it seems like her new comment is also being slammed by netizens. Here's what she said:
While speaking to Instant Bollywood, Urvashi was asked about excessive trolling post her comment on Saif's stabbing incident and people calling her 'beauty with no brains'. She was quick to take the names of PM Narendra Modi, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan. She replied, "Isme kya hai na… humare jo desh ke Pradhan Mantri bhi hain, Shri Narendra Modi ji, mere sabse zyada favourite superstars Shah Rukh Khan aur Salman Khan – toh log jo hain voh toh unko bhi nahi bakshte. Toh aap hi bataiye ki phir isme kya kiya jaaye?"
In no time, her comment went viral on the internet. One of the users wrote on Reddit, "No way she compared herself to greats like Modi ji, SRK, and Salman." Another user wrote, "How delusional can someone be?"
Recently, while celebrating the success of her film Daaku Maharaaj, she was asked about Saif Ali Khan's attack at his Bandra house. She had told ANI, "It is very unfortunate. Now, Daaku Maharaaj has crossed ₹105 crore at the box office, and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger. However, we don’t feel confident wearing these items openly due to the insecurity of being attacked. Whatever happened was very unfortunate." She went on to post an apology on Instagram but later she deleted it.
The actress then clarified her stance while speaking to Filmfare. She said that the question about Saif caught her off guard because the attack happened at 4 am, and she had an interview the next morning while she was still processing the news. She added that she kept talking about Daaku Maharaaj as the interviews were lined up to celebrate the success of her film.
