A few months after its theatrical release, 12th Fail premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Upon its OTT release, several Bollywood celebrities watched the movie and shared their reviews on social media. Urmila Matondkar, too, enjoyed watching 12th Fail and felt Vikrant performed extremely well in the film.

Urmila Matondkar took to her official X account and shared her thoughts about Vidhu Vinod Chopra's movie, which is currently streaming on an OTT platform. The senior actress mentioned there are so many things to appreciate, cheer, and love about 12th Fail. In her opinion, only Vidhu Vinod Chopra could've spun this story in a simple and soul-searching manner.

She further lauded the performances of the star cast. Matondkar also hailed Vikrant Massey's 'outstanding performance' and said he is shining the brightest. The veteran actress added that both 12th Fail and Vikrant Massey deserve to win 'national awards'.

A few days ago, Hrithik Roshan also shared his review of Vikrant Massey's 12th Fail on social media. The Fighter star took to his X account and said that Vidhu Vinod Chopra's directorial venture is a 'masterclass in filmmaking'. Hrithik mentioned that he was inspired by the use of sound and how the sound effects played a role in enhancing the moments. Like Urmila, the actor also lauded the performances of the star cast.

For those who are unaware, 12th Fail is the real-life story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who overcame extreme poverty to become an Indian Police Service Officer. While Vikrant essayed the role of Manoj Kumar Sharma, his co-star Medha Shankr essayed the part of Shraddha Joshi. The star cast of the film also included Anshumaan Pushkar, Anant V Joshi, and others.
