Uppu Puli Kaaram revolves around modern love, with stories on relationships in the modern generation. It promises to be a fun and entertaining series that is said to particularly appeal to youth. The makers had recently released a fun-filled promo of a struggling actor, who seem to have had an absent father. Meanwhile on the other side, we are shown a man having a good time with his family, hinting that the man is his father.
Hotstar has been releasing Tamil originals off late. Last year, the streaming platform released the crime thriller series Label, starring Jai in the lead role and directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. The platform also released its series called Heartbeat, which is set in a hospital. However, the chances of a second season are slim because the popular OTT platform hasn't renewed any of the Tamil-language series for a new season in the last few years.
