Maharaja

Maharaja is a crime thriller headlined by Vijay Sethupathi in his 50th outing. The film is directed by Nithilan Saminathan and features the actor playing a barber. Maharaja also features actors Mamta Mohandas, Anurag Kashyap, Natty, Singampuli, Abhirami and others, in prominent roles.

Weapon

Weapon is a superhuman action drama starring actors Sathyaraj and Vasanth Ravi. The film is about a known YouTuber Agni, who is famed for showcasing superhumans. As he discovers suspicious footage of a boy surviving a truck accident, it leads him into an investigation, resulting in a clash with a powerful secret society. This leads him to realise that he has a superhuman identity, leading to a confrontation with his father.

Pagalariyaan

Written and directed by Murugan, the film is headlined by Vetri. It also stars Akshaya Kandamuthan, Chaplin Balu, Sai Dheena, Murugan and others. After a gangster’s daughter elopes with a man named Wolf, she learns that she has been abducted. The rest of the film deals with the girl knowing the man’s real intentions.

Uppu Puli Kaaram

Release Platform: Disney+ Hotstar

Release Date: New episodes on July 5

Uppu Puli Kaaram is a family drama series which is currently running on Disney+ Hotstar. Each weekend, four new episodes are released. The series is directed by M Ramesh Baarathi and stars Ponvannan, Vanitha, Ayesha, Naveen, Ashwini, Dheepika, and others.
