When Balakrishna steps on the gas, there's no shortage of entertainment for viewers and it's this unpretentious approach to life that wins over his fans and also helped his talk show on aha, Unstoppable with NBK, garner impressive viewership. The Akhanda star is now back to enthrall streaming enthusiasts for the second season of the talk show, starting this October 14. The premiere episode of the second season brings together his brother-in-law, politician Chandrababu Naidu and son-in-law Nara Lokesh.
A five-minute promo of the show was launched earlier today. The promo has Balakrishna and Chandrababu interacting with each other in a lighter vein. The latter even says that he's more romantic than Balakrishna in his movies, remembering his college days where he tried to woo girls by removing the silencer from his bike. The host insists Chandrababu call his wife Bhuvaneswari and say 'I love you'. He tells her, 'I am helpless and stuck with Balakrishna here.'
Of course, when Nandamuris and Naras come together, how can one not have a discussion around politics? Chandrababu Naidu mentions that the decision to lead an internal coup within the TDP in 1995 was necessary to salvage the legacy of the party when his repeated attempts to safeguard its interests had failed. The politican asks Balakrishna his opinion on the controversial issue. When the atmosphere gets slightly heated, the show makes way for Nara Lokesh, politician and son of Chandrababu Naidu.
Balakrishna doesn't spare Lokesh either - he asks his opinion about the latter's loss in the Mangalagiri constituency in the 2019 elections. He prods him to talk about Chandrababu Naidu's attire, which remains the same, regardless of the location. They later take a light-hearted jibe at Lokesh's snap in a swimming pool that went controversial recently. On the whole, the episode has all the ingredients of an entertaining Balakrishna film - drama, humour, emotion.
