Undekhi season 2 preview: All you need to know about Sony LIV’s upcoming series

Undekhi, which was one of the first hits from Sony LIV, is back with a new season. The second season of this show will release on the OTT platform on March 4. Before that, here’s a small recap about everything that happened in season 1 and what you can expect from season 2 and everything else you need to know about the show…

What was Undekhi season 1 all about?

The Atwals who are currently in business aka Rinku (Surya Sharma) and Papaji (Harsh Chhaya) try to let a murder committed by Papaji slide. He is so power-drunk that he doesn’t even remember killing someone. Thereon begins the game where these two Atwal men, with the help of their loyal bodyguard Lucky (Varun Bhagat), take on everyone who comes in their way and tries to expose the murder. Koyal (Apeksha Porwal)’s sister-like figure was the victim and thus, she is out to take revenge. Another obstacle in her way comes in the form of DSP (Dibyendu Bhattacharya) who searches her for a murder but then realizes that she is also witness to another murder, the one committed by Papaji. Teji (Anchal Singh) who is newly married to Papaji’s other son Daman Atwal (Ankur Rathee) has a lot going through her mind. The question is, whose side is she on?

New entrants in Undekhi season 2.

Joining the party are Nandish Sandhu and Meiyang Chang. They play the roles of Samarth and Abhaya respectively in the second season of Undekhi.

What can you expect from Undekhi season 2?

Considering there are two new entrants, expect double the drama, fear and confusion. You can never really figure out what is going on with the series, who is with whom and what will happen next. That is the beauty of Undekhi and it continues with Undekhi 2.

What makes Undekhi an important watch?

Undekhi, at least the first season, dealt with a huge class difference. One could see how the Atwals could control everything in Himachal just because they had the power and money to do so. However, their time for downfall is also close, which could be seen in the number of men they also lost in season 1. Will the Atwals emerge victorious again? Will the people involved let the demon win? Season 2 is expected to get the viewers closer to that answer.
