The most recent celebrity to praise the Malayalam film Manjummel Boys is Tamil actor and politician Udhayanidhi Stalin. The actor took to social media to laud the team behind this survival thriller. “Watched Manjummel Boys! Just WOW!,” he wrote.

Chidambaram S Poduval has directed and written the screenplay for this film. Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S Poduval, Chandu Salimkumar, and Lal Jr. are among the ensemble cast members that star in Manjummel Boys. The movie was released in theatres on February 22.

Manjummel Boys, which finds inspiration in real-life incidents, has struck a chord with viewers and is doing well at the box office. The film is becoming increasingly popular not only in Kerala but also in other regions of the country, especially Tamil Nadu.

In the survival drama Manjummel Boys, a group of friends travel carelessly to Kodaikanal. The friends hike to Gunaa Cave to give their trip an adventurous twist. But when one of them falls through a crack and into a hole, their fun excursion takes a terrifying turn.

Manjummel Boys is attracting a lot of moviegoers in Tamil Nadu as well. Industry sources report that growing public interest has resulted in a significant spike in demand for the film in theatres.

Due to the overwhelming positive response from viewers, the film garnered over Rs 1 crore from the state alone. Hridayam, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, was the most recent Malayalam movie to be received favourably in Tamil Nadu, according to sources. The Tamil version of Mammootty’s Bramayugam is also running successfully in theatres.

Manjummel Boys’ Guna connection worked in TN

Manjummel Boys' connection with Guna, one of the cult classics of Tamil cinema, has made it popular among viewers in Tamil Nadu. The cave became well-known after it was used for the 1991 film Guna's filming. Based on early feedback, director Chidambaram appears to have made great use of the famous song Kanmani Anbodu in the film, bringing back fond memories for film enthusiasts.
