Social media is abuzz with expectations about Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Jailer. Fans of Superstar gather regularly in Twitter spaces and discuss the upcoming movies and all the gossip and updates they hear from different sources.

Amid fervent discussions on social media platforms, a surprising revelation shook the fans of Rajinikanth's Jailer. During a Twitter session, an ardent fan claimed to have inside information about the film, which he had received directly from the lyricist Super Subu, who penned the song titled Hukum for Jailer.

According to the enthusiastic fan, he had personal discussions with Super Subu, and it seems that Jailer is not entirely what fans have been speculating. The fan disclosed, "Jailer is 70 percent comedy. We fans should not expect it to be like Kabali after hearing the Hukum song. We should not expect that the whole movie will carry the 'mass' that we saw in the Hukum song ." This revelation seemed to temper the soaring expectations of the audience, who initially believed Jailer would be a full-fledged action-packed spectacle.

The fan in question also shared composer Anirudh Ravichander's alleged insights about the film. According to him, Anirudh was heard describing Jailer as "not a 4AM film but a perfect 8AM film." The fan explained, "What he means is that this movie will offer a vibe and mood, which are very different from Thalaivar's usual movies. It will be a slow burner." This indicates that Jailer will be a unique experience for Rajinikanth fans, deviating from his typical action-packed ventures.

The filmmakers had already defied expectations by releasing a party song titled Kaavaalaa, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia . The song received mixed reactions but garnered widespread attention with numerous dance videos and Instagram reels dedicated to it.

However, Hukum, another song from the movie, was perceived as a perfect treat for the fans as it paid homage to Rajinikanth's larger-than-life image, which they eagerly look forward to witnessing on the big screen.

Jailer is written and directed by Nelson, and apart from Rajinikanth and Tamanaah, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Redin Kingsley, Vinayakan, and Jaffer Sadiq.

Jailer is due in cinemas on August 10.
