Turbo update – Bramayugam music director Christo Xavier joins Mammootty-Vysakh's project

Turbo, the highly anticipated project that stars Mammootty in the lead role, is now in the final stages of its production. The shooting of the action comedy, which is helmed by renowned filmmaker Vysakh, was wrapped up recently. The technical crew of Turbo is currently busy with the post-production work on the film. Meanwhile, a new update on the technical crew of the Mammootty starrer has left cine-goers highly excited.

Bramayugam music director Christo Xavier joins Turbo

For the uninitiated, popular musician Justin Varghese is composing the songs and the original score for Turbo. The highly anticipated project marks Justin’s second collaboration with Mammootty, after the 2023-released film Christopher. Interestingly, the technical crew of the Vysakh directorial has now gotten bigger, with the addition of Bramayugam music composer Christo Xavier.

Yes, you read it right. The young musician, who has highly impressed Malayalam cinema audiences with his stellar compositions in the Rahul Sadasivan directorial, is now a part of Team Turbo. As per the recent updates, Christo Xavier has been roped in to compose the additional score for the upcoming action comedy. The reports have also clarified that he is not replacing Justin Varghese as the music composer for the project. Christo, who is all excited to reunite with Mammootty for Turbo, confirmed the reports recently with a special social media post.

Turbo's post-production is under progress

As per the recent updates, the post-production work on the highly anticipated project is now in full swing. If things proceed at the same rate, the highly anticipated Turbo teaser will hit screens soon, mostly in March 2024. The makers of the Mammootty starrer are expected to officially announce the teaser release date and other details, very soon. The team is also expected to announce the release date of the film, along with the teaser.

Along with Mammootty, Turbo features a stellar star cast including Kannada actor-director Raj B Shetty, Telugu actor Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anjana Jayaprakash, Shabareesh Varma, Antony Varghese, and others in the pivotal roles. Vishnu Sarma is the director of photography. Shameer Muhammed handles the editing. The project is bankrolled by Mammootty himself, under the banner Mammootty Kampany.
