Turbo OTT release – Here’s where you can watch Mammootty’s action-comedy film

Mammootty was recently seen in Turbo, the mass action-comedy film that hit the theatres in May 2024. The movie, which marked the megastar’s reunion with the filmmaker Vysakh, earned super hit status at the box office. Mammootty played the central character Turbo Jose in the film, which is bankrolled by the megastar’s home banner, Mammootty Kampany. As per the recent updates, Turbo is gearing up to have its OTT release soon, on the popular OTT platform Sony LIV.

Turbo to stream on Sony LIV soon

If the recent updates are to be believed, the OTT rights of Turbo have been bagged by the popular streaming platform Sony LIV, for a whopping price. The grapevine suggests that it is the biggest OTT deal for the production banner Mammootty Kampany, yet. Even though the makers have not officially announced the Turbo OTT release date yet, it is safe to assume that the Mammootty starrer will have its streaming debut by the first week of July 2024. More updates on the same are expected to be out very soon.

Turbo satellite rights

According to the latest updates, the satellite rights of Mammootty and Vysakh’s action comedy film are also sold. The streaming rights of Turbo have been bagged by Zee TV, for a record price. The recent reports also suggest that the super hit film is now gearing up to have its world television premiere on Zee Malayalam, mostly during the Onam season of 2024. An official announcement on the same is expected to be out soon.

Turbo – Plot, cast and crew

The action comedy film revolves around Aruvipurathu Jose aka Turbo Jose, who is forced to relocate to Chennai after he gets involved in a problem related to his friend Jerry and a girl named Indhulekha. However, in Chennai, Jose gets into the bad books of Vetrivel Shamugha Sundaram, a local goon. Mammootty plays Jose in the film which features Raj B Shetty in the role of Vetrivel. Shabareesh Varma, Anjana Jayaprakash, Bindu Panicker, Kabir Duhan Singh, Niranjana Anoop, and others appear in the supporting roles. Christo Xavier composed the music for the movie, which is distributed by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films.
