Turbo, the latest hugely successful film from Malayalam in the first half of 2024, debuted online a day early. The OTT release was highly anticipated by Mammootty fans across the globe. The Mammootty-starrer, which was penned by Midhun Manuel Thomas, was directed by Vysakh. As previously stated, the film is currently available for streaming on Sony LIV. After the movie's release, online users have been sharing their thoughts on it as well as their favourite scenes.

Netizens praise Mammootty for his dynamic performance

The actor's exuberant performance during the film's stunt scenes has received high appreciation. The majority of them cited the car stunts in climax sequence as their favourite of all. It has been regarded as one of the best in Malayalam cinema. A few others have also mentioned the scene where Mammootty fights with cops in a police station.

“A decent fan service for diehard fans and a passable mass masala flick for the general audience!!,” a user wrote on X. Some have also said that the action scenes are what keep the movie interesting to watch, even if the plot lacks any noteworthy elements.

Mammookka was dubbed "fit as a fiddle" by another user. Netizens are praising Kannada actor Raj B Shetty for his Malayalam debut as well.

Turbo on Sony LIV in five languages

In addition to Malayalam, the Vysakh film is available for streaming on Sony LIV in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Turbo Jose, the action drama's main character, is forced to move to Chennai after saving a young couple's relationship from imminent death. He becomes entangled in a larger conspiracy involving underworld groups, business moguls, and the police in Chennai. According to reports, Turbo has earned more than Rs 70 crore in total at the box office. It is appealing that Turbo's creators are already working on a sequel. The GCC saw the release of the film's Arabic version on August 2, much to the delight of Mammootty fans worldwide.
