PremiumTurbo - Mammootty and Vysakh to wrap up the shooting soon; major update is out
Turbo, the highly anticipated Mammootty starrer, which is helmed by hitmaker Vysakh, is now nearing the final stages of its shooting. The movie is expected to get a May 2024 release.

Mammootty is going through an excellent phase in his acting career, with back-to-back impressive outings. The megastar of Malayalam cinema is now on a high with the massive opening of his latest outing, Bramayugam. Meanwhile, the veteran actor is now also busy with the final schedule filming of Turbo, his upcoming action comedy. The much-awaited project, which is helmed by hitmaker Vysakh, is now inching towards to completion of its filming.
Turbo shooting to be wrapped in 4 days
Recently, Mammootty’s home banner Mammootty Kampany took to the social media handles and dropped a picture of the veteran actor and director Vysakh. Interestingly, the banner also penned an exciting message from the celebrated filmmaker, in the post. “Only four fleeting days remain to grace the realm of the @TurboTheFilm – Vysakh,” reads the social media post of the renowned production banner, which is now going viral.
From the recent social media post of Mammootty Kampany, it has been confirmed that the shooting of Turbo will be wrapped up in four days. As reported earlier, the cast and crew members of the project are currently busy with the final schedule shooting of the movie in Chennai. The sources close to the project suggest that the team is currently busy filming some high-voltage action sequences of the movie, which is penned by writer-director Midhun Manuel Thomas, in the capital city of Tamil Nadu.

Turbo teaser to release soon?
The Mammootty fans and cine-goers are considering the recent post by Mammootty Kampany as a major hint towards the upcoming teaser release of the film. If the reports are to be believed, the Turbo teaser is expected to be out immediately after the cast and crew wrap up the entire filming process. Earlier, it was reported that the teaser would hit the theatres with the megastar’s latest outing Bramayugam. However, the plans did not materialize, as the team was busy with filming.
Along with Mammootty, Turbo also features popular Kannada actor-filmmaker Raj B Shetty, senior Telugu actor Sunil, Antony Varghese, and others in pivotal roles. Vishnu Sarma is the director of photography. Shameer Muhammed handles the editing. Justin Varghese composes the songs and original score. Shajie Naduvil handles the production design. The Vysakh directorial is expected to hit the theatres in May 2024.
