Trisha to reunite with Mounam Pesiyadhe co-star in Suriya 45?

It looks like Trisha has been on a signing spree, and the actor has been approached for another big project from Tamil cinema. While Trisha is already part of films like Ajith Kumar’s Vidaa Muyarchi and Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam's film Thug Life, looks like the actor is also all set to reunite with Suriya for Suriya 45, helmed by RJ Balaji.

Trisha in Suriya 45?

We had earlier reported that actor Suriya will be starring in a film directed by actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji, which is tentatively titled Suriya 45. The film will have music scored by AR Rahman and is bankrolled by the Dream Warrior Pictures banner.

While the new combination of RJ Balaji and Suriya looks fresh and increases the anticipation, it looks like the filmmaker is set to bring back a vintage combination by roping in Trisha as the female lead in Suriya 45. It is to be noted that Suriya and Trisha worked in two films, Aaru and Mounam Pesiyadhe. If the news of Trisha’s casting is indeed true, it will be the first time we see her working with RJ Balaji. An official announcement from the makers is awaited regarding Trisha’s casting.

It looks like RJ Balaji will be joining the shoot soon in November end, with Suriya also back after Kanguva release.

Where did we see Trisha last?

Trisha was last seen making a cameo appearance in The GOAT. However, she was also seen in the SonyLIV web series Brinda, which is also available for streaming on OTTplay Premium. Brinda is a Telugu crime thriller series in which Trisha plays the role of a young cop who has to probe a murder and in the process, unearths a dark scheme of things.

The series is directed by Surya Manoj Vangala and opened to positive reviews upon its release. Brinda also stars Indrajith Sukumaran, Ravindra Vijay and others.
