Trisha refutes wedding rumours in Leo style, leaves fans elated as she awaits the release of The Road

Trisha, who was seen in Ponniyin Selvan 2 earlier this year, is awaiting the release of Leo. The much-awaited action drama helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj brings her alongside Vijay after 15 years. The gangster flick is slated for a huge release in four languages on October 19.

However, she has another release that will hit the screens before the Vijay-starrer. The Road, directed by Arun Vaseegaran, has her playing the lead role. Billed as a thriller, it will be released on October 6. The trailer of the film will be unveiled soon. 

Trisha refutes wedding rumours in Leo style

The social media was abuzz with the news of the actress getting hitched to a Kerala-based producer. Many of her fans were left perplexed and started speculating on various things. The actress soon swung into action and cleared the air by rubbishing the news.

Interestingly, her tweet went viral for one more reason. The caption she put out to refute rumours reminded everyone of the posters of Leo which were out in recent days. Her tweet read, "Dear “you know who you are and your team”,“keep calm and stop rumouring” (sic)."

Three releases in 2023

The releases of The Road and Leo make her total outings this year three. Her second Malayalam film Ram which has her paired opposite Mohanlal was also said to be releasing in 2023, but it looks like the makers have postponed the plans.

She signed another Mollywood movie recently. Titled Identity, it has her sharing screen space with Tovino Thomas. The long-delayed project Sathuranga Vettai 2 is one project she has in her kitty. She is also said to be essaying a key role in Ajith's Vidaa Muyarchi.
