Trisha hits back at ex-AIADMK leader for derogatory comments against her; “It's disgusting to repeatedly see low lives…”

Actress Trisha, who had lately been victim to horrific remarks from co-star Mansoor Ali Khan, has now spoken against former AIADMK leader AV Raju for his alleged derogatory remarks against the actress.  

For the unversed, the former AIADMK leader from Salem, made controversial comments about the actresses from the industry. During the press meet, he made objectionable references to names of Trisha and actor Karunas. The AIADMK functionary made the statements, while targeting Salem West MLA G Venkatachalam. AV Raju accused the MLA of cheating him of Rs 40 lakh, which led to his removal from the party.

AV Raju made huge allegations against the MLA, targeting his character. Openly taking actress Trisha’s name, AV Raju alleged that MLA Venkatachalam had paid Rs 25 lakh to the actress for coming to Golden Bay resort. 

Raju goes on to make despicable comments, alleging that Venkatachalam demanded “a very young girl” and that “This is the one thing he couldn’t enjoy in life.” The disgraced leader’s objectionable remarks were made a day after he was ousted from the party.  

Now, actress Trisha has slammed the leader for making ‘disgusting’ comments against her. The actress wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “It's disgusting to repeatedly see low lives and despicable human beings who will stoop down to any level to gain attention. Rest assured, necessary and severe action will be taken. Anything that needs to be said and done henceforth will be from my legal department.” 

 The incident has now led to widespread outrage on social media, with netizens slamming the leader for his derogatory remarks and trying to tarnish the reputation of a woman.

Earlier, Trisha’s Leo co-star Mansoor Ali Khan found himself in the middle of a controversy, following his derogatory remarks against the actress. Trisha later responded to the incident on her social media pages with a note , vowing not to work with the actor ever again. The actor was slammed for making rape jokes about the actress and was later asked to issue an apology and was slapped with a fine of Rs 1 lakh for his derogatory remarks.
