Filmmaker and actor RJ Balaji who was last seen in Singapore Saloon, is expected to join hands with actor Trisha for a Tamil film. However, no official confirmation has been made on this regard by the actors involved. The film is expected to be a fantasy drama with divine intervention, just like Balaji's Mookuthi Amman.
As per reports, it is speculated that Trisha and RJ Balaji, who have not worked together so far, will be joining hands for a film. The project is expected to be a fantasy film with a divine intervention, just like RJ Balaji's Mookuthi Amman. The 2020 film is a fantasy comedy featuring RJ Balaji along with actor Nayanthara in the lead titular role. It revolves around a news anchor who has to expose a fake godman and gets the help of a goddess herself.
However, the upcoming film will not serve as a sequel for Mookuthi Amman since he will be doing the project for another production house. Mookuthi Amman was produced by Vels Film International. With Trisha speculated to play the lead role, an official confirmation in this regard is awaited, along with the production banner associated. It is to be noted that RJ Balaji helmed two films, Mookuthi Amman and Veetla Vishesham which were co-directed by NJ Saravanan.

Trisha was last seen in Leo alongside Vijay which released in 2023. The actor is busy with multiple projects across languages as she shares screen space with top actors of the industries. While she is part of Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life, Trisha will be also sharing the screen space with actor Chiranjeevi in the upcoming Telugu film Vishwambhara. She is said to pair up against Silambarasan in Thug Life.
At the same time, she has Identity with Tovino Thomas in Malayalam and Ajith Kumar's Vidaa Muyarchi in Tamil, directed by filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni.
