Triptii Dimri received numerous film offers after her role in Ranbir Kapoor's Animal, but Bad Newz was not among them. She had already scored the movie before Animal had even been released in theatres. Despite the Tauba Tauba craze on social media owing to her chemistry with actor Vicky Kaushal, the actress revealed that she actually froze in front of Vicky while shooting for the movie. Not just Bad Newz, Triptii also bagged Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video before her fame with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. Here's everything Triptii said...
Triptii Dimri was working in Bollywood for a while, with some acclaimed films like Laila Majnu, Bulbbul and Qala. The actress, however, was recognized for her role as 'Bhabhi No 2' in Ranbir Kapoor's Animal. It was the success of that movie and her character that opened up many opportunities for Triptii. However, while talking to The Hollywood Reporter India, Triptii revealed that she had bagged both Bad Newz opposite Vicky Kaushal as well as Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opposite Rajkummar Rao before the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial even released in theatres. Post Animal release, she was cast in Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 as well as Siddhant Chaturvedi-led Dhadak 2.

It is no surprise that Vicky Kaushal as well as Rajkummar Rao would read their lines and turn it into something beautiful. While trying to keep up, Triptii got lost in her thoughts. She struggled with comedy and drama before eventually getting the hang of it, and while revealing so, she also spoke about freezing in front of Vicky Kaushal while shooting for Bad Newz. "Earlier with Vicky, I was so nervous. I was frozen for 3 days," she said, revealing that they shot for Tauba Tauba on the first day. The actress got nervous looking at Vicky perform and thus, chose not to interact with him for 5-10 days. After that time, she got used to being on sets and shooting for the film.
Triptii spoke about the comedy surrounding Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video shoot. But even in that, Rajkummar left her impressed and taught her a lot as an actor. Triptii revealed that once Rajkummar or Archana Puran Singh got to it, their comedy would make even the crew laugh. What impressed her most was Rajkummar's skills in saying a monologue. "Rajkummar can finish a two-page monologue in one go, without messing up the lines," she revealed.
Triptii further went on to share that acting wasn't the first thing that she wanted to pursue, but she did take up the profession to not want a regular life for herself. The actress will be seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video next, scheduled for October 11 release. Her film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, on the other hand, is scheduled to release in theatres on Diwali.
