Triptii Dimri rose to fame with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film Animal. Although she made her acting debut in 2017, she tasted success with the 2023 film, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. Despite limited screen time in the movie, Triptii was appreciated. Animal turned out to be a money spinner at the box office. However, it received massive criticism. In a recent interview, Triptii said she didn't look at the movie as an 'anti-feminist' film.

In an interview with Filmfare, Triptii Dimri refrained from giving tags like 'feminist' or 'anti-feminist' to films. Talking about Animal in specific, the actress shared, "I didn’t look at it as an anti-feminist film. I don’t give such tags to films. Even while doing Bulbbul and Qala, I never thought I was doing a feminist film. I connected with the characters, had faith in the directors and felt I should do it."
She recalled the time Animal was offered to her. The actress revealed she met Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who didn't tell her much about the story but explained her character.
"To me, what was exciting was that I have only done goody and nice person roles – who get sympathy at the end – till now, and I felt this was a nice space to be in where I do this character," shared Triptii. In the 2023 film, Triptii played the role of Zoya. Her movie was criticized for glorifying misogyny and violence.
Triptii Dimri's films after Animal
After the massive success of Animal, Triptii Dimri had three theatrical releases in 2024. The actress featured in Anees Bazmee's horror comedy film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. She was also a part of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Rajkummar Rao. In the same year, the actress starred alongside Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk in Bad Newz.
Her upcoming projects include Dhadak 2 with Siddhant Chaturvedi. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the film has been backed by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures.
