For the uninitiated, Parveen Babi ruled the Indian cinema with her performances in the 1970s and 1980s. She starred in films including Deewar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Majboor, Trimurti, Khatta Meetha, and more. However, despite the life full of limelight, her life included struggles with mental health and the said biopic is set to capture the essence of her journey including her success and tribulations. Regarded as one of the finest actresses of Indian cinema, she was also one of the highest-paid actresses of the 1970s and early 1980s.

She will also feature in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal Park, also starring Ranbir Kapoor. Animal Park is a sequel to the blockbuster film 'Animal'.
