As the trailer for the third season of Tripling has dropped, the curiosity around the show has started increasing. The director of the new season, Neeraj Udhwani says that shooting the show was quite an interesting process not only because of the extensive outdoors that was a natural requirement of the show being a road-trip story but also because of the way, the cast and crew had shot the show in different weather conditions.
Sharing one such anecdote, Neeraj said, " We wrote a scene where the actors are performing a sequence under the rain. We were in Panchgani in the winter, shooting and everything was beautiful. Then we realised that under the six-degree celsius temperature, we actually have to shoot the rain sequence! Of course, that was one of those moments but I have to thank all our actors who were game for that! They were getting drenched in the shivering cold and also had to deliver dialogues. It was tough, but we finished it super quickly! When the audience will watch that scene, I think they will understand it a little better!"
In the new season, the siblings - Chandan, Chanchal and Chitvan, along with their parents also take a road trip, mapping three places, that includes Bhutan, Pondicherry, and Manali. The parents have decided to opt out for separation from their marriage and how these three siblings respond, support and handle the complicated emotional situation of their parents who are going through a rough patch in their marriage, set the tone of the story.
Produced by Arunabh Kumar, and written by Sumeet Vyas and Abbas Dalal, the 5-episode web series Tripling Season 3, featuring - Shernaz Patel, and Kumud Mishra as parents alongside Sumeet Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo, Kunaak Roy Kapur, is releasing on Zee5 on October 21.
