Trina Saha, Rwitobroto Mukherjee in Soumojeet Adak’s next, Neel Bhattacharya in a cameo | Exclusive

Trina Saha has her hands full. She has started working on Soumojeet Adak’s upcoming drama. The yet-untitled film also features Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Rajat Ganguly, and others. Trina’s husband, Neel Bhattacharya, will also feature in a brief role. Veteran actor Paran Bandyopadhyay was also scheduled to work in this film. However, his involvement depends on the condition of his health. He was unwell due to a cold and cough.  

According to sources, the film revolves around an orphanage where a number of kids grew up. Years after they pursue their life and part ways, they reconnect and come back to the orphanage. The shooting has started and is in full swing. 

Meanwhile, Trina is also gearing up for another web series for Camelia Production. According to sources, the series is directed by Soumik Chattopadhyay, and Sohini Sarkar will also feature in the series. There has not been any confirmation from the makers. However, the series will go on the floors by the end of July and will be made for the launch of Camelia’s OTT platform, which has a speculative name, Friday. 

On the other hand, Rwitobroto will be seen in Subrata Sen’s directorial, Samaresh Basur Projapoti. Besides, he has been waiting for a few more releases.    

Meanwhile, Pran Bandyopadhyay also has his hands full. However, he was unwell after suffering from a bout of cold and cough. After medical advice he chose to rest for a while. He stepped down from Kaushik Ganguly’s Ashukh Bishukh and Pathikrit Basu’s Dabaru.
