Genelia Deshmukh and Manav Kaul starrer Trial Period is the upcoming comedy-drama OTT film. The makers have dropped the official trailer of the film which sees both the actors in a situation never-seen-before.
The latest trailer begins with showcasing Genelia as a single mother living with her young son and parents. After witnessing an unusual advertisement on television about the trial period of items, her son asks her to get him a brand new father for a one-month trial.
Due to a lot of pressure, Genelia agrees and with one-of-a-kind arrangement gets Manav Kaul to be her son's new 'trial period' father. The trailer further gives a glimpse of how the situation and lives change for the three key people of the story.
Makers dropped the trailer with a special caption on YouTube that reads, "#TrialPeriod #JioCinema #TrialPeriodOnJioCinema Your father on #TrialPeriod is out for delivery! #TrialPeriod arriving on 21 July only on #JioCinema | Stream Free. #TrialPeriodOnJioCinema #FatherOnRent (sic)."

On July 6, ahead of the trailer release, Genelia took to social media to share the first motion poster of her upcoming film with Manav. The moving image sees the actor-author packed in a bubble wrap, while the actress and her son in the film are unwrapping their latest delivery.
Genelia shared the post on her official Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "Fresh out of the box, unveiling the first ever Father on #TrialPeriod! Trailer out tomorrow. #TrialPeriodOnJioCinema #FatherOnRent #JioCinema

Written and directed by Aleya Sen, the forthcoming flick is bankrolled by Jyoti Deshpande, Hemant Bhandari, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, and Aleya Sen under Jio Studios and Chrome Pictures.
TrialPeriod, which also features Shakti Kapoor, Sheeba Chadda, Gajraj Rao and Zidane Braz in significant roles, is slated to release on Jio cinema on July 21.
