Acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi’s next film is a thriller, titled Train, directed by Mysskin. The first look of the upcoming movie has been revealed and fans are thrilled to witness what this actor-director collaboration has in store for them. Earlier, the Jawan actor’s new avatar was shared online and now Train’s first-look poster has been released by the makers.

The director recently shared the upcoming film’s first-look poster on his social media handle, with Vijay flaunting a thick beard and moustache. The poster also features railway tracks and approaching trains in the background, hinting at the period drama’s dark plot devices. With an intriguing caption that says “#TheJourneyBegins”, the director revealed the much anticipated first-look poster of his upcoming project.
The Jawan actor to don two looks in the Mysskin directorial?
The actor was previously seen sporting a cropped moustache and thick-rimmed glasses for his character in Train. His new look, however, has taken the internet by storm. Now, the new poster hints at the movie following a particular timeline and that the actor might have two looks in the period drama.
Mysskin and Vijay Sethupathi’s collaboration
The actor-director duo has previously collaborated on Pisasu II, in which Vijay played a 16-minute cameo as a doctor. Speaking of his latest releases, Vijay in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, where he portrayed the character Kaalie Gaikwad. The film was directed by Atlee. Vijay’s upcoming projects include Sriram Raghavan’s thriller Merry Christmas, which also stars Katrina Kaif. The movie is set to release on January 12, 2024. Meanwhile, Viduthalai Part 2 and Maharaja are at different stages of production. Coming back to Train, the movie is presented by Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations banner. Further details about the film are yet to be disclosed.
