Fans of director Hemanth M Rao’s Sapta Sagaradaache Ello are probably counting down to November 17, when the second chapter of the story comes out in theatres. Ever since the first part, Side A, came, and ended with a brief glimpse into what to expect in Side B, there has been speculation galore about the trajectory that life takes for Manu (Rakshit Shetty) and Priya (Rukmini Vasanth), once he completes his 10-year jail sentence. Hemanth will give viewers yet another peak into what’s in store when the story picks up in 2020 with the trailer that will be released tomorrow, November 4 at 6.06 pm.
For the uninitiated, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A followed love birds Manu and Priya, whose dream of a life together was shattered after he decides to find a short cut to a hopefully better life by owning up to crime committed by his employer’s son. This, however, backfires and Manu is stuck having to serve out a 10-year prison sentence, which, in turn, takes a toll on his relationship with Priya. The film had a decent theatrical run and is available on Amazon Prime Video.
Side B features Rakshit as a heavier set world weary Manu, who’s sporting battle scars on his face from his time in jail. Will Manu seek revenge on those who ruined his happiness? Is Priya still waiting for him or did she actually succumb to pressure from her mother and married someone else? Who is Surabhi (Chaithra J Achar) and what is her role in Manu’s life? There are a lot of questions that audiences are waiting to find answers too. And while that will happen only on November 17, the hope is that Hemanth will sprinkle the trailer with some clues.
