Teenz is teen horror drama, directed by actor R Parthiban

We had previously reported that actor-director R Parthiban will be directing an upcoming Tamil film titled Teenz. The makers had released the trailer of the film on Saturday, which unveiled more about the teen horror drama.
The two-minute trailer begins with a group of young teenagers, who are tired of their parents treating them as children. Later, the group decides to bunk their school for one day and travel to one of their grandmother's village, with the aim to have fun and prove they are adults too. However, here begins the tonal shift to an eerie one, with one of them initiating a ghost tour. Paired with creepy background score, the rest of the trailer shows the group facing paranormal activities. Yogi Babu is seen as a ghost. The trailer also shows the group encountering various struggles in their adventure and how they escape it.
The upcoming film is produced by Caldwell Velnambi, Dr Bala Swaminathan, Dr.Pinchi Srinivaasan, Ranjith Dhandapani and Radhakrishnan Parthiban under Bioscope Dreams LLP, and Akira Productions Pvt Ltd.
Teenz primary cast includes fresh faces like Prashitha Nazir, LA Rishe Rathnavel, Frankinsten, Deepesshwaran GS, Asmitha Mahadevan, KS Deepan, Udaipriyan K, Vishrutha Shiv, D John Bosco, Sylvensten, D Amruutha, Kritika Balasubramanian and Roshan, among others.
The music for Teenz is composed by D Imman and the film has been shot by cinematographer Gavemic Ary. Parthiban’s daughter and former child artist Keerthana Parthiepan Akkineni has served as the creative producer of the film. R Sudarshan has edited the film, with Parthiban penning the lyrics. A release date for Teenz is yet to be announced.
Earlier it was revealed that Teenz had set a new record for having its first look unveiled in theatres with a censorship certificate. Officials from the World Records Union, an official registrar of world records, gave Parthiban and other members of the film crew the certificate for this accomplishment in Chennai.
