Siren trailer - Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh's film promises to be a gripping revenge drama

The official trailer for Siren, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Jayam Ravi in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media recently. The film is set to hit theatres on February 16. A revenge thriller, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh and is directed by Antony Bhagyaraj. Siren is produced by Sujatha Vijaykumar.

What does the Siren trailer show?

The nearly two-and-a-half minute trailer starts with the voiceover of Jayam Ravi, who says that in most instances, doctors say that had the patients been brought minutes earlier, they could have saved them. He emphasises that time is in our hands. We also get to see Jayam Ravi in a salt-and-pepper look; he plays an ambulance driver. 

Keerthy dons the khaki and plays a cop. While we get to see some drama unfold, the trailer also reveals a past, in which Anupama Parameswaran plays the Jayam's character's wife. It is revealed that they have a daughter, who is not in good terms with her father. The rest of the trailer is packed with action, emotions, and the police trying to unravel a murder that is blamed on Jayam's character.

Here's what we know about Siren

Siren is written and directed by Antony Bhagyaraj. Besides Jayam Ravi, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Yogi Babu, and Samuthirakani, among others, in significant roles. It marks the first on-screen collaboration between Jayam and Keerthy. The cinematography for the film is handled by Selva Kumar SK, while the editing is done by Ruben. Dhilip Subbarayan is in charge of the stunt choreography. The film is produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar. The music is scored by GV Prakash Kumar, who has already released songs such as Netru Varai from the upcoming film, while Sam CS has composed the background score.

According to popular reports, the digital rights for the film has been bagged by a popular OTT platform for a whopping price of Rs 40 crore. Although there has not been any official confirmation from the team, the digital rights for the film have been reportedly bagged by ZEE5.
