DeAr marks the first time Aishwarya is sharing the screen space with GV Prakash.

The trailer for DeAr, the upcoming Tamil film starring GV Prakash Kumar and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles, was released by the makers on social media on Friday. The film is set to hit big screens on April 11. It is to be noted that DeAr marks the first time Aishwarya is sharing screen space with GV Prakash.
The nearly two-and-a-half-minute-long trailer has a voiceover by cricketer Ashwin Ravichandran and begins by introducing the hero, GV Prakash, who plays a newsreader. Rohini plays his mother, while Kaali Venkat plays his brother. On the other hand, we are introduced to Aishwarya Rajesh, who lives with her parents. After their families meet, the leads get married. However, the trouble kicks in when the wife begins to have a snoring problem that begins to create havoc in their marital life. As the husband begins to get more troubled by the wife's snoring, we see a crack beginning to develop.
It is to be noted that earlier, the Manikandan-starrer Good Night also dealt with the issue of snoring. However, the roles have been reversed here, with the husband suffering from a from a snoring issue. DeAr is set to release on April 11.
Written and directed by Anand Ravichandran, GV Prakash has also scored the music for the film. It is backed by Varun Tripuraneni, Abhishek Ramisetty, and G Pruthviraj. The technical crew consists of cinematographer Jagadeesh Sundaramurthy, with Rukesh handling the edits.
Touted to be a family drama, Anand Ravichandran of Sethum Aayiram Pon fame said that the story’s theme was inspired by a real-life event that had happened in his family. “It is a married couple’s story and starts off with the wedding and sheds light on what it takes to have a long-lasting marriage,” he was quoted as saying. The film also stars Thalaivasal Vijay, Rohini, Kaali Venkat, Nandini Ilavarasu, and Geeta Kailasam in pivotal roles.
