Toxic Birthday peek X reactions: Earlier today, the first official visuals from Yash’s upcoming Toxic were released, and going by the response on social media, fans do not seem quite satisfied

The moment that fans were eagerly waiting for is finally here, but was it worth the hype? That’s the big question for fans of Rocking Star Yash, after watching the Birthday Peek of Toxic, the first official bit of visuals from the superstar’s upcoming film. Well, if the reactions on X are anything to go by, it seems director Geetu Mohandas has missed the bus on this one.
The much-awaited Birthday Peek has Yash, clad in a bespoke 4-piece suit and hat, puffing away at a cigar, as he makes his way into a club/casino, where men are getting handsy with barely-clad women, as alcohol and drugs flow freely. Yash is, reportedly, playing a drug lord in this period film, so, the visuals go with the territory. And while fans are loving Yash’s swag and the international level production quality, the content has them divided. This is, perhaps, the reason that the comment section on the video was disabled for a while.
Yash, said some fans, will take Kannada cinema to global fame with Toxic. “Total Hollywood stuff; Blockbuster loading”, they said. By and large, though, fans seem to be a tad disappointed with the glimpse as it did not meet their expectations. Even then, some tried to remain optimistic, writing, “This movie will either be epic success or epic failure... No in betweens... But it's just a glimpse and maybe they wanted to stay true to title hence it's toxic to the core... But deep down pretty sure it will have solid emotional connect than just making and other stuffs”.

For a moment felt like Royal stag ad. Hope there is more in the store. Completely trust Yash with the thought process!” The problem, felt many, is that the character seems a lot like KGF’s Rocky Bhai, with some opining that Yash is unable to break free from that image.
The birthday peek, meanwhile, has not addressed whether or not Toxic will stick to the April 10 release plan. The current buzz is that it will be a 2025 film, with a December outing more likely.
