Tovino Thomas is now going through an excellent phase in his acting career, with some promising projects in the pipeline. The talented actor was supposed to join hands with Dijo Jose Antony, the director who rose to fame with Jana Gana Mana, for an action thriller. The movie, which has been titled Palli Chattambi, was later delayed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and multiple lockdowns. However, in a recent interview, the filmmaker confirmed that the project is set to be revived soon.
In a recent interview with a leading Malayalam online media outlet, director Dijo Jose Antony confirmed that Palli Chattambi is not shelved. The filmmaker, who is now busy promoting his upcoming Nivin Pauly starrer Malayalee From India, confirmed that the Tovino Thomas starrer will be his next project. According to the director, the team has decided to revive the highly anticipated project and is planning to kickstart the shooting by the beginning of 2025. If things proceed at the same rate, Palli Chattambi will start rolling in January 2025.

If the reports are to be believed, Tovino Thomas and Dijo Jose Antony’s ambitious project is an out-and-out action thriller which is set in a different period. The movie, which is bankrolled by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner Sree Gokulam Movies, is expected to feature leading man Tovino in a never-seen-before avatar. Jakes Bejoy is composing the songs and original score for the film, which is penned by Suresh Babu. More updates on the female lead and the rest of the star cast of Palli Chattambi, are expected to be out soon.
The talented actor is now busy with the shooting of Identity, the upcoming crime thriller, which marks his second collaboration with the Forensic team. Tovino Thomas is set to reprise his character Jathin Ramdas from Lucifer in its upcoming sequel L2: Empuraan, which is helmed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. He recently wrapped the shooting of Ajayante Randam Moshanam, the upcoming period drama that features the actor in a triple role.
