Actor Tovino Thomas disclosed that his father has a minor but significant role in the upcoming film Anweshippin Kandethum while speaking in a meet-the-crew interview with Theatre of Dreams. Even though his father had only two days to shoot, he was on time and eager to learn the ins and outs of the process, he said.

"He respected the team's effort and commitment, so he was punctual. For these two days, my mother had also been with him," he remarked. The Thallumaala actor mentioned that his father used to ask him acting advice, which the former found very enjoyable.

Tovino clarified that the energy of his character, SI Anand, changes throughout the movie. He said, "Anand is passionate about his profession because his father was a police officer as well."

He also discussed his extensive discussions about character development with the writer and director. "We received assistance from a police officer in getting ready for the movie.
