Tovino Thomas’ Nadikar trailer - ‘Karma’ appears to be striking hard at ludicrous superstar David Padikkal

The makers of Tovino Thomas’ upcoming big budget film, Nadikar, dropped its trailer today (April 27) at an event held in Lulu Mall, Kochi. The trailer for this film, which opens nationwide on May 3, has been eagerly anticipated by both movie buffs and fans of the actor. Lal Jr has directed Nadikar, which has a striking ensemble of young stars in its supporting cast.

Trailer shows glimpses of David’s failing career

The two minutes and thirty seconds of video provide viewers with a glimpse into the life of Tovino Thomas's character, Malayalam film superstar David Padikkal. There are also snippets of his failing career being shown, with his arrogance and opulent lifestyle being blamed for its downfall. In the teaser, David is shown as being criticised by directors for his poor acting skills, while some of his followers compliment his good looks and fame.

Bhavana, who plays his love interest, can be seen accusing him of deserving this setback because karma is real. Additionally, it demonstrates how a technician's accident on his movie set is coming back to pester him. Soubin Shahir makes an appearance as a character who shows up to let David see the truth about his career.

Tovino Thomas’ Nadikar to release on May 3

The movie's teaser reveals that David, despite his string of failures, refuses to work with certain directors and is adamant about maintaining his reputation as an important actor. He is depicted by the media as an "unworthy, naive fool who thinks he is some sort of hero" in the meantime. Nadikar is guaranteed to be an interesting flick for Malayalam viewers thanks to its humorous moments, sporadic serious moments, and the strong performances of Tovino, Bhavana, Soubin, and other actors.

Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi are among the five languages in which the movie is scheduled for release on May 3. Soubin Shahir, Suresh Krishna, Manikuttan, Shine Tom Chacko, Arun Kurian, Balu Varghese, Lal, Madhupal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, and director Ranjith are among the cast of Nadikar.
