Tovino Thomas' Anweshippin Kandethum to be a December release? Here's what we know about the police thriller

Malayalam star Tovino Thomas is all set to captivate audiences with his upcoming investigative thriller, 'Anweshippin Kandethum,' in which he essays the role of a sub inspector names Anand Narayanan. 

After the makers of the film had unveiled a poster featuring the actor in a police officer's attire, social media is abuzz that the movie is slated for release on December 8, 2023 - making it Tovino's follow-up film post the blockbuster, 2018: Everyone Is A Hero.

Directed by debutant Darwin, 'Anweshippin Kandethum' promises to deliver an engaging drama and stars Tovino alongside Aadhya Prasad in the lead roles. The film's screenplay is written by Jinu Abraham, who is known for his work in 'Adam Joan' and 'Kaduva'. Cinematographer Gautham Shankar and Tamil music director Santhosh Narayanan are also part of the crew of the movie, which had wrapped up its shoot earlier this year with Kottayam, Kochi and Idukki being its main locations.

On the work front, Tovino is awaiting to grace the screen in the action fantasy film 'Ajayante Randam Moshanam,' directed by Jithin Laal. The movie, which has him essaying a triple role, also has the Minnal Murali actor teaming up with actress Kriti Shetty, Aishwarya Rajessh and Surabhi Lakshmi. The actor is currently shooting for Lal Jr's 'Nadikar Thilakam' in Hyderabad. 

The latter, which also has Soubin Shahir as part of the cast, has Tovino playing the role of a superstar. The actor has suffered an injury after a glass aquarium had broken and fell on him a month ago. Tovino had resumed shoot after a fortnight's rest.

After Nadikar Thilakam, the actor is set to begin the shoot of Identity in Rajasthan. The movie, which also has Trisha Krishnan, Mandira Bedi and Vinay Rai, is touted to be an action thriller.
