The year has been full of blockbusters with films like Gadar 2, Pathaan and more. As we have already stepped into the month of September, the cinephiles are all set to witness some of the historical releases such as the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan as well as the much-awaited instalments of the hit franchises such as Fukrey 3, The Nun 2 and more. We have curated a decent list of movies that are scheduled to be out this month in cinemas.
Jawan (September 7)
The highly anticipated and already considered blockbuster film has been in buzz since its announcement in June 2022. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer, which is directed by Atlee follows the tale of a man, who is out to rectify the evils and punish the wrongdoers of the society. Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone.
Fukrey 3 (September 28)
The highly anticipated instalment of the comedy-drama film is all set to hit cinemas this month with the same star cast and a follow-up story that will see our beloved Choochaa running elections against the savage queen, Bholi Punjaaban, among other happenings. Fukrey 3 stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Manjot Singh and Pankaj Tripathi.
The Nun 2 (September 7)
The spin-off movie and the ninth instalment of The Conjuring Universe franchise is set in the backdrop of France in 1956, where evil takes over after the murder of a priest, while Sister Irene from the first part gets to face the demon again.
The Great Indian Family (September 22)
Written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the YRF movie stars Vicky Kaushal and Manushi Chhillar as lovers. The romantic comedy film also features Yashpal Sharma, Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa, Vedant Sinha and Srishti Dixit in key roles.
The Vaccine War (September 28)
Written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar and Raima Sen starrer focuses on one of the crucial events amid the Covid-19 pandemic that witnessed the effort by medical units all over India to overcome the global crisis.
Expend4bles (September 22)
The Expendables 4 or Expend4bles has been long overdue since the release of the third instalment in 2014. Directed by Scott Waugh, the Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture starrer is set to witness the heroes fighting against a dangerous terrorist organization to save their people.
Sukhee (September 22)
The Shilpa Shetty and Kusha Kapila starrer talks about female friendship and spirit of freedom with reliving the good old times along with your best pals from the best days of your life.
