Story plot:
The plot of the show is based on the best-selling novel ‘Never Kiss Your Best friend’. This is basically a modern day take on what Shah Rukh Khan had told (read ‘preached’) in the hit film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, where he had said the epic line ‘Pyaar dosti hai’. Little did he realise that, one day, his line will actually give birth to a novel, which will be eventually made into a web series, which will be loved by a global audience!
The show stars the Gen-next superstars in the form of Nakuul Mehta and Anya Singh, who play the respective roles of Sumer and Tanie. They meet after 5 long years of separation. Will they prove the adage right that ‘Separation makes the hearts grow fonder!’. Will the best friends remain as best friends forever or will the dosti between them eventually give way to the essence of love seeping in.
