What happens when an ordinary dentist is timid, weak-willed, and in love with a gorgeous vampire? They have a forbidden love that has the potential to cause a crazy clash of worlds and threaten to separate them. Even though it seems impossible, this narrative will make you cheer for the human dentist who lives next door and the disobedient vampire! Welcome to the world of Tooth Pari: When Love Bites, a Netflix original romantic fantasy thriller written and directed by Pratim Dasgupta and produced by Endemol Shine India. The series, starring Shantanu Maheshwari and Tanya Maniktala as the charming Roy and Rumi will begin streaming on Netflix on April 20.

Rumi, the disobedient vampire from "Neeche," fractured one of her fangs while on a hunt and ended up in Roy's, a human dentist's office. Even though it was just a "meet cute" for this pair, what happened afterwards is interesting to see.

This romantic fantasy thriller, which is set in Kolkata, the city of pleasure, promises a "love bite" you won't soon forget. With its shady lanes, Maidan Metro Station, Nonapukur Tram Depot, Babughat Bridge, and Howrah Phool Ghat, among many other well-known landmarks that bring the world of Tooth Pari to life, the lovely city of Kolkata only contributes its mystery and appeal to the story.

This battle between the "upar" and the "neeche" is unexpected, shocking, gripping, and will make your heart race. Luna Luka (Revathy), the leader of Cutmundus and a modern-day Wiccan, is determined to show the vampires for what they are. Sub-Inspector Kartik (Sikandar Kher) becomes involved in a questionable case that could cost him his job. Will Roy and Rumi's love win out over everything, even though they can't stop thinking about each other?

The show's creator and director, Pratim Dasgupta, said in a statement that Tooth Pari, a modern-day fantasy fairy tale set in Kolkata, is magical, exciting, and very romantic. It's a traditional story about a vampire and a human falling in love, but it's also a happy fairy tale full of kindness. Some of the best actors in the country are in the series, and they get into their roles by letting their wild sides show. With its unique visual style and compelling narrative, Tooth Pari should let viewers feel a strong connection to the series.

On discussing the release of the trailer, Shantanu Maheshwari said that what is in store for the audience in this improbable love story is barely touched upon in the trailer. He thinks it is a very original and unique take on the vampire genre because it is a romantic thriller with hints of humour. They are very excited about the book's release because the story is original, unique, and a first of its kind.

Tanya Maniktala is ecstatic to be a part of this endeavour and looks forward to viewers watching the tale develop. They think readers who enjoy the romance, fantasy, and thriller genres will be drawn to the story's originality. They are all portraying characters that they have never portrayed before.
