The Mumbai airports are definitely a hot spot for celebrity sightings, and a beloved Hollywood couple recently graced the Kalina airport in Mumbai recently. Celebrity couple Tom Holland and Zendaya were recently spotted at the airport, looking as charming as ever.
Tom was spotted wearing a brown jacket over a pink t-shirt and sporting a grey cap. Zendaya had on a pair of glasses and a black baggy outfit over a white tee, with her hair tied back.
It is unclear why the couple are in the country, but sources say that Tom and Zendaya are here to attend the inauguration of the The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, which is ste to take place on March 31, Friday. According to a description on the official social media pages of the centre “The Centre integrates state-of-the-art technology while honouring India's rich cultural and artistic heritage by providing immersive experiences through curated shows that spotlight the country's past and present achievements”.
Rumours are also floating about that the couple might also be touring the country in search of a location for their impending wedding, although no formal confirmation about the same has been out as yet.
The duo reportedly started dating while starring in the MCU film, Spider-Man: Homecoming(2017), where Tom essayed the role of the titular superhero, while Zendaya starred as his love interest, MJ. The duo also reprised their roles in the sequels, Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).
On the work front, Tom was last seen in Ruben Fleischer’s Uncharted, in which he shared the screen with Mark Wahlberg. The actor will next be seen in the anthology television series The Crowded Room, which also stars Amanda Seyfried, Emmy Rossum, Sasha Lane and Christopher Abbott.
Zendaya will be seen in the upcoming season of Euphoria, reprising her role as Rue. She will also be seen in the films, Challengers and the sequel to Dune.
